Hays are currently assisting a major Sydney organisation with the recruitment of a senior team member who will head-up all construction (fitout/refurbishment/new build) projects around the asset.
The role is responsible for a team of 15 that includes SPM's, PM's, CA's and a Design Manager. The programme of works covers smaller fitout projects around the $3m mark up to larger redevelopments of $10m/12m. The key needs for the role are to manage the scope, commercials and complex stakeholder relationships whilst leading the team.
Suitable candidates will come from a large complex client-side environment working with a host of stakeholders and have the exposure to leadership across a large team. Whilst this role requires the in-depth construction knowledge as important are the leadership skills to gain the respect of a mature team.
