My client, a recognised, established and world-wide business based in Preston have approached Hays to recruit a Management Accountant to join their finance team. Technically no.2 in Finance you shall deputise for the Financial controller where necessary and support a small team in order to train, supervise and develop the function.



The role shall provide a range of management information on the manufacturing and products using detailed knowledge of SAP's integrated system. Hands-on with strict deadlines you shall produce and manage the collation and reporting of the monthly Manufacturing statements, Latest Estimates and Annual Budgets and remain a key contact for the Operations team, providing guidance and direction to both financial and non-financial personell. The job holder will acquire a detailed understanding of the SAP system and will become a key user in developing business information, producing latest forecasts and annual business plans as well as the manufacturing management accounts and analysis over the manufacturing operation.



An analytical role you shall also provide commentary on production utilization/efficiencies on materials, direct/indirect labour as well as the collation of data and presentation of product costs for latest estimates and the annual budget.

In order to be considered for this role you shall have relevant experience, and ideally strong SAP/Excel knowledge. With management experience you shall also have strong people skills.
