Our client is an international leader in the field of global travel and medical assistance, roadside assistance and home care assistance. Providing exceptional customer focus with a key eye on efficiency and market growth, their 5 year strategy requires a proven commercial operations strategist to join their executive leadership team as their Head of Operation.



Reporting to the CEO, this newly created position is a key strategic and tactical thought leadership role in managing the customer experience and operational profitability of travel claims, medical assistance and medical assessing in New Zealand. You'll be responsible for reviewing existing operations and strategically future proofing them for expansion. The ability to influence, lead and manage people and change through innovation and positive reinforcement is essential



Our client is seeking a minimum of 10 years operational management experience within insurance, financial services or similar service industry. You'll have proven success leading large teams (including call centre operations), demonstrated business improvement/change management experience together with process re-engineering to streamline and increase efficiency to meet SLA's. . The ability to adapt quickly in understanding claims and technical insurance principals is essential, as is the ability to utilise data and convert it into growth (commercial acumen). Strong Stakeholder engagement (local and off shore) exceptional communication skills, and a high level of professionalism is required.
