This Government Department is seeking an EL1 Public Affairs Officer for a 3 month contract that has demonstrated experienced in strategic communications and developing and implementing strategy.



You will lead a small team and will have a demonstrated capacity to mentor staff.



Strong liaison abilities are essential to engage with stakeholders and strong writing skills are required as you will be writing for media.



As a strategic thinker that has strong analytical skills, you will be a fast learner that can interpret complex information and present it to others in an understandable form.



You will have experience in project management, have worked at the Executive Level and be deadline focused.



This role involves developing and implementing campaigns that appeal to mass audiences as well as targeting specific markets.



To be considered for this position you must have a Baseline Security Clearance.
