Head HR for Luxury Retailer

Our client is a luxury company with over 100 employees in Japan. They started operations here a few years ago and the business performance is strong, with several new stores opening each year.



The dynamic President is seeking a talented HR Manager to smoothly run the company's HR systems and programs. This will include daily operations such as recruitment, performance management and compensation tasks. There are also several ongoing projects to be completed, working closely with the headquarter HR team. Because the company is still small, you should also be comfortable working on administrative tasks, including some GA duties. There is one assistant to support you in the HR function.



You will use your expert HR knowledge and experience in a small company to work closely with local and overseas management to build the company. Critical requirements for this solid HR generalist skill set, assertive communication skills in both Japanese and English and management ability. Background in luxury/retail industry is an advantage, but the company is open to other profiles too.
