The iTunes internal tools team is looking for a software engineer who enjoys working in small teams and approaching a wide variety of problems which can make a significant impact on the quality of Apple products. You will be working with engineers, quality assurance engineers, and cutting edge technologies that will drive the future generation of products at Apple.



Key Qualifications




  • Strong depth of knowledge in web languages, relational and NoSQL databases and frameworks

  • Experience working in small to medium teams with lean methodologies

  • Demonstrable experience with RESTful APIs and OAuth

  • Experiencing with testing and continuous integration/deployment

  • Experience with writing scalable application code

  • A history leading engineering teams

  • A deep understanding of technology with a desire to scale




Description



Our iTunes internal Quality Assurance tools team is looking for a seasoned engineer who has seen many projects to completion and has learned the lessons of supporting a production environment. The ideal candidate thinks through the implications of their work beyond the code and understands both a test driven and behavior driven development mentality. This candidate should feel comfortable supporting multiple cross-platform projects at once. This engineer is one who gets excited about sharing their knowledge and mentoring other engineers and is someone who values programming over domain specific knowledge.



Education



BS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience



Additional Requirements



Experience with managing and scaling Jenkins

Experience with Ruby development a plus

Experience with mobile application development a plus
