Service Provider Channel Manager-VCP

Columbus, Ohio Area, US - Computer Software, Information Technology and Services





The Service Provider (SP) Channel Manager (CM) is responsible for accelerating the Veeam related sales via Veeam Cloud Providers (VCP’s) to the marketplace. While enhancing executive relationships, the SP-CM will focus on developing and executing upon strategic business plans with the most influential VCP’s. The SP-CM will focus VCP enablement including technical and sales training, marketing plans and go to market strategies. In addition to VCP’s, the SP-CM may be called upon to develop executive-level relationships with VARs, distributors, and potentially large customers within the territory in an effort to enhance the overall business.



Responsibilities



• Bachelor’s Degree required (A combination of education and experience will be considered.)

• 10+ Years of successful sales and related channel development experience

• Proven track record of successful selling in a channel environment

• Knowledge of virtualization technology, experience with VMware and Microsoft Hyper-V is a plus

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to work independently with limited direction in a fast-paced environment; must be a high-energy, motivated self-starter

• Ability to adapt to changes in roles and responsibilities

• Ability to travel 50% of the time within assigned territory



Qualifications



• Achieving revenue targets and goals for the territory, with a focus on pull through revenue of existing partners.

• Developing and executing business plans with the focus on VCP partners.

• Working closely with Veeam VCP AE’s and VCP Inside sales teams as well as extended team members and channel partners.



REPORTING RELATIONSHIP AND ACCOUNTABILITY

This position reports to the VP Sales, Service and Cloud Providers
