Assistant to Commercial Operations

A new and exclusive progressive job to become part of an expanding commercial function with my client a specialist manufacturer and well-known commercial organisation based in Grimsby. This full time position reporting into the Manager and will be the perfect move for a self-starting and proactive Commercial Assistant.



With responsibility of providing first class service and support customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders, managing the order processing function, promptly guaranteeing on-time-in-full deliveries. Assisting and creating monthly reports and the provision of information to various departments: Accounts, Sales, Production, Supply Chain and Management. Undertake customer service reviews and feedback to support the improvement of service and the supply chain process. Deliver quotations, pricing and costing to customers and internal departments, ensuring all correspondence and communication for the business is presented professionally and on-brand. Imperative to the success of the role is the ability to manage customer expectation, maintain and improve supplier contact and terms, work within the specified production plan and be the face of the organisation at events and trade shows.



Due to the fast paced and varied nature of the position, experience is absolutely essential; therefore the client is only accepting CVs of candidates with recent experience in Customer Service and Commercial functions of Manufacturing and Supply Chain industries.
