The iMovie for Mac team seeks an experienced software engineer to build custom technologies and features for visual storytellers. The preferred candidate has interest and relevant experience in user interface design, application architecture, API design, data persistence and synchronization.



Key Qualifications

• 5 years Macintosh or iOS software development experience.


• Strong Objective-C, Cocoa and Mac OS X programming skills.


• Experience with concurrent programming and file system APIs.


• Experience with SQL, CoreData, or network storage is a plus.


• Familiarity with video editing is an additional plus.

This is an exciting opportunity to make visual storytelling easy, fun, and expressive for everyone. In this role you will help design new features and maintain current features that help people tell their stories every day. You will be challenged to find creative solutions to technically challenging problems. You should feel comfortable working with complex systems and large data sets, developing short-term and long-term solutions based on schedule constraints, collaborating in a team environment, and communicating technical concepts across all levels of the organization.



Education



BS or MS in Computer Science is preferred
