Service Information Developer

Wuhan, Hubei, China, CN - Information Technology and Services

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to operational aspects of the system or service


• Validate and route issues to problem management team as appropraite


• Define, monitor, and resolve event notifications in the production environment.


• Ensure that system resources are configured and running properly.


• Provides technical content/documentation of application and/or business process knowledge to enable the appropriate support levels to deliver the relevant depth of support


• Application/Database configuration and performance maintenance and tuning.


• System log files maintenance.


• Monthly reports for application performance analysis and planning.


• Develop and deliver application functionality training for business users support if applicable.


• Analyze functional requirements and work with functional teams for resolution of any queries.


• Review application source code to identify the root cause of incidents/problems.


• Modify application source code to fix defects causing incidents/problems.


• Minor/Major enhancement on existing application systems with software engineering technologies (Java, .NET, etc.)

  · · Bachelor degree or above, major in Computer Science is preferred
  
  
  
  · · Strong sense of responsibility and team spirit, self-motivated, and ability to work under pressure (willing to work on shift schedule, US/EMEA if required)
  
  
  
  · · Strong communication and presentation skills
  
  
  
  · · Strong analytical skills and problem solving ability
  
  
  
  · · Solid oral and written English skills (CET-6 or above)
  
  
  
  · · Solid experience in using Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
  
  
  
  · · Good understanding of ITIL, ITSM knowledge.
  
  
  
  · · Good understanding of Oracle/SQL/DB2 is desired
  
  
  
  · · Good understanding of Java/.Net technology is desired
  
  
  
  · · Good understanding of Weblogic/websphere is preferred
  
  
  
  · · Good understanding of OS (Win/Linux/Unix) is desired
