A job opportunity has arisen to join the Senior Management Finance Team as Head of Financial Management following a recent restructure. We are looking for someone commercially minded (NHS experience is not essential) with strong leadership skills and excellent analytical, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust is the largest provider of mental health, substance misuse and learning disability services across Norfolk and Suffolk.
Providing care to a combined population of 1.6 million people in Norfolk and Suffolk 24 hours a day. NSFT has a turnover in excess of 200m per annum, and like many other NHS Trusts face financial pressures over the coming years and specifically the next 12 months. It is an exciting time to join an existing team who are enthusiastic and passionate about delivering a world-class finance function.
The post holder is responsible for leading and managing the Trust's business and management accounting function and developing the Trust's financial reporting processes, control and systems to meet the requirements of Foundation Trust status.
You will help drive the transformation required for NSFT to improve its financial position and to further develop the skills of the staff within the department. You will be a qualified accountant, have held senior roles previously, and have a proven track record of business transformation. Management of a large department is important as well as skills to lead and motivate others to achieve change and improvement.
