Project Accountant

A high-calibre accountant with a background in dealing with complex contracts is required for a project accountant job in Plymouth, Devon. Working within a small team you will be a pivotal part of a high profile, flagship project, which will require you to effectively liaise with various stakeholders, as well as internal and external auditors.



Proven experience of being able to interpret complex contracts into financial models is essential. You will have advanced excel skills and the ability to analyse complex information. This contracts accountant job will require strong financial modelling skills as well as cashflow modelling.



Experience of working in a partnership and dealing with complex and sometimes conflicting priorities and agendas would be an advantage, along with working knowledge of contract management techniques and methodologies. PFI or PPP contracts processes would be desirable.



Report writing will be a key part of the role, therefore excellent proven communication skills and the ability to present complex financial data is required.
