The Core OS organization is looking for an experienced project manager to direct and lead technology projects for Mac OS X and iOS software releases. This role requires an energetic and motivated individual with strong communication, organization, and technical skills who works well in a fast-paced dynamic environment.



Key Qualifications




  • This position requires someone who:

  • Can coordinate multiple projects across multiple locations

  • Is self motivated, proactive and able to work under minimal supervision at detailed levels while taking account of interdependencies at higher levels

  • Is able to interact with all levels of engineers and managers

  • Has excellent written and communication skills

  • Pays attention to the details and is highly organized

  • Is fluent in software engineering processes with complex technical issues

  • Experience managing complex set of deliverables with many interdependencies




Description



Manage cross functional projects by providing project leadership and daily management through project life cycle for all assigned projects

Oversee all aspects of project information including timelines, resource allocation, scope and definition

Track and manage cross functional requirements

Communicate project schedules, status and potential risks

Proactively identify, prioritize and drive resolution to project issues



Education



BS in computer science or equivalent



Additional Requirements



Candidate should have:

Experience with rapid development cycles

Knowledge of software and hardware development processes

Experience managing OS projects

Project scheduling expertise

Minimum 5 years experience as technical lead or project manager in software

Experience managing low level software deliverables
