This organization is a significant civil works contractor, with a global footprint and proven track record of delivering challenging commercial, infrastructure and industrial projects. They recently commenced work on a high-value hydro project in Northern Manitoba.



An exciting job opportunity has become available for a Quality Manager to join their team on this project in Manitoba. In this position your primary responsibility will be to develop, implement and maintain quality systems for the project, both for staff and sub-contractors. You will liaise closely with the project client advising them on quality activities, and will play a leading role in conducting reviews and audits across site. You will also train site personnel and sub-contractors, ensuring they are aware of their responsibilities in this area.



You will be able to demonstrate a proven track record of success in implementing and coordinating quality control activities on large civil construction projects. Your in-depth knowledge of inspection and testing processes will enable you to add value straight away in ensuring bulk earthworks, concrete and reinforcing steel construction activities are completed to expected standards. You will also have past experience implementing/working with ISO 9001.2008 quality systems in the construction sector.
