PURCHASE LEDGER CLERK - ASHBY DE LA ZOUCH
PERMANENT JOB WITH AN IMMEDIATE START
SALARY £17,000 PER ANNUM
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join an established business based in Ashby de la Zouch. Reporting into the Manager, the main responsibilities for this stand alone Purchase Ledger role will include:
* Process Purchase Ledger Invoices (500-750 per month).
* Raise Purchase Orders in line with company policies
* Match invoices to Purchase Orders or code directly to Balance Sheet or Profit and Loss accounts
* Manage the Purchase Ledger Month end process
* Reconcile the monthly Hotels and Flights statement and correctly account for VAT
* Process BAC's and Cheque payments and ensure all payments are fully reconciled
* Any Ad Hoc duties as required
* Demonstrate a high level of teamwork at all times sharing best practice.
Essential Skills
* Excellent planning and organisational skills.
* Strong computer and Excel skills
* High levels of communication.
* Strong teamwork skills.
* Previous experience of a similar role desirable
* Sage 200
