Part Time Company Accountant (Interim)

We are recruiting on behalf of a successful, Derby based, family owned company, who have a requirement for a part time Company Accountant to cover a maternity absence for six to nine months.



Reporting to the Managing Director, the candidate will be responsible for producing the monthly management accounts; managing & forecasting cashflow; processing the purchase & sales ledger; ensuring statutory returns are completed; managing a small payroll, and generally ensuring that the company's financed a re managed effectively.



The successful candidate will be required to work three days per week, 9.00 - 16.00, although there can be some flexibility on this. Whilst formal qualifications are not essential, the ideal candidate will be confident, and experienced enough to take over with minimal support and have a working knowledge of Sage 50.
