PL/SQL Oracle Developer

Opportunity for an experienced Oracle PL/SQL Developer looking to join a worldwide leader in their field. My client develop internet and internal applications using Oracle as the back end database with browser based front-ends written in Microsoft .NET development using C# and MVC architecture. The largest part of the application logic is managed at the database level by constraints and by stored procedures.



Due to further development of my clients existing systems and the development of a major new application, we are looking to expand the development team (combination of Oracle and .NET Developers.) It is important that applicants have broad experience of working in an environment where you have worn a few hats. Someone that has worked in a niche role in part of a large organisation is unlikely to be appropriate.



Successful applicants should have a minimum of 3 years Oracle Development experience writing complex stored procedures using PL/SQL. Successful applicants must be able to demonstrate a 'can-do' attitude and be prepared to take responsibility for significant pieces of development work. This means that full lifecycle development experience, from initial business requirements gathering through to deployment, is essential. If you need to be spoon-fed this is not the role for you.



Any additional experience using .net to build web-based applications would be desirable. If not then training can be provided for the right applicants.
