Commercial Accountant

Our client, a FTSE 100 Company and one of the top TV advertisers in the UK is looking to recruit two commercial accountants. The role of this Commercial Accountant is to provide a high level of financial support, challenge & control for the UK Marketing teams. You'll be given full ownership and accountability in helping to drive the success of some of the world's biggest brands, as well as the opportunity to establish yourself as a true Finance business partner. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Commercial Accountant to really make their mark in a globally renowned and international organisation.

Responsibilities

Business partner with the brand marketing teams to develop and build strong relationships so that you are fully involved in their financials.

Represent finance within brand / category core teams, focused on driving brand growth & profitability

Complete ad-hoc financial analysis on UK management projects to ensure robust financials behind decision-making process

Work within the team to develop new tools & systems to improve the return on trade investment

Build quarterly brand forecasting & annual plans

Assess and improve the profitability of Category product launches

Supervise the UK's marketing budget and spend

Perform key tasks within the commercial finance team, to ensure that reporting is both timely & accurate

Work within the team to develop new tools & systems to improve the return on marketing investment

This role would suit a qualified accountant with strong commercial awareness and previous experience of business partnering in a cross functional environment. Advanced excel skill and a willingness to work in a challenging environment are required to excel with this dynamic and thriving company.
