Expanding their E&P operations worldwide, our Client is one of the major oil & gas upstream players. The company putting great efforts in opening and maintaining their fields, with an ambition to become one of the largest E&P companies in the near future. Emphasising a highly efficient health & safety environment to their rigs / platforms, the organization is currently looking for a Head of HSE Risk & Incident Management to be based in their KL office.



Your role would be to lead and drive formulation of Risk Management strategies and framework, encompassing policies, procedures, system and process that are in line the integrated Group HSE objectives, strategies, governance and in compliance with the relevant host countries regulatory requirements, standards and industry best practices. You will also be responsible to plan and manage investigations of major incident throughout the client's operations in line with the Technical Standards & Guidelines and local/host country legal requirement with a view to identify the root causes and formulate intervention plan to prevent recurrence and harm to people, environment, asset and reputation and gain stakeholder acceptance in the implementation of recommendations including the appropriate consequence management.



Specialized knowledge of HSE technical standards, regulations, legislation and policies and experience in leading major incident investigation and consequence management methodology will be advantageous to have for this role. You will be more relevant to this role is you understand HSE Management System (HSEMS), HSE Risk Management methodology (HEMP, HAZOP, QRA, HRA EAI, etc). Being able to identify major HSE Risks/ issues in the organization as well as emerging HSE issues including regulatory aspects in the industry//regulatory bodies that impact the business.



You will be successful if you hold a Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Physical Science with a minimum of 15 years experience in oil and gas industry. Other than that, good command of English will take you a long way in this process.
