One of Australia's biggest general insurance brokers is searching for a motivated and driven candidate to join their busy team.
You will be responsible for managing the SME, Rural and Not for profit portfolio.
As a broker assistant your role will vary greatly day to day meaning you could be analysing client needs and providing advice accordingly, completing full renewal processes including analysis, quoting, documentation finalisation and client meetings the next day. You will be managing endorsements and cancellations, working closely alongside the broker to ensure completion of all necessary tasks, client queries and obtaining new business quotes as required. Good time management skills are required as you will be working with strict deadlines.
To be considered for this position you must have Tier 1 Insurance broking, an ability to communicate at all levels and discuss products with Underwriters to achieve the best outcome for the client. You must have excellent attention to detail and product knowledge in the areas of SME, Rural and NFP would be beneficial.
