A long established building contractor based in Melbourne are looking for a methodical contract administrator to join their team. The company in question is responsible for delivering numerous large scale residential and light commercial projects across Victoria over the last three decades.
Reporting to the Project Manager you will be responsible for up to two projects at any one time, have the ability to adhere to strict deadlines, be able to prioritise and be quick to think on your feet.
Key activities will include:
* Reporting and cost control
* Sub Contractor Review and Selection
* Management of Sub Contractors
* Cost Management and Reporting
* Head Contract Administration
* Tender Preparation and Issue
You must be well presented, have meticulous attention to detail, have the charisma to build close working relationships with people at every stage of the project and the ability to negotiate with external suppliers in order to get the best value of money.
The right person will solid and proven experience with all the above but more than anything else you will have the same aspirations and goals as the business itself.
