The HR IT organization is responsible for managing and supporting the systems for the Corporate HR and Payroll organizations. The individual will be the Business Intelligence lead architect as part of the global HR/Payroll Systems deployment, as well as have responsibility to manage all the existing reporting/BI applications and vendors for HR reporting. Data sources for the reporting include major applications such as Employee Self Service (ESS) and EV5 (HR/Payroll), and will expand to include cloud based systems such as Workday (HR) as part of the Global HR/Payroll systems implementation. In addition to these primary responsibilities, the individual may have opportunities to lead and participate in other projects in IT supporting HR and Payroll.Specific responsibilities will include: Establish and define the overall technical architecture and strategy for reporting to support the rollout of global HR/Payroll systems internationally; manage and work with an implementation partner/vendor as required to develop said strategy and execution plan. This includes reporting for global sites, both from on-prem and cloud based systems. Manage the projects/enhancements and steady state support of the existing BI applications used by the HR Reporting team, which spans Microsoft tools, such as SSRS, SSAS, SharePoint, as well as Informatica and Tidal job scheduling.Manage a development team of consulting resources (onsite/offshore), and make decisions on appropriate resourcingManage the relationship with the HR reporting team. Guiding the HR Reporting team to provide forward thinking solutions that are sustainable, deliver long term value, and support agility of data delivery. Ensure SDLC is followed by development and project teams, and devise innovative project methodologies as appropriate for reporting. Managing the overall schedule, budget and resources required for technical architecture and solution development and implementation. Applying ACE tools and principles in solution development and issue resolution Exploring and selecting new IT technologies that will bring value to both the reporting teams and the IT function Teaming with other IT functions such as Security, Infrastructure, Data Warehouse, SharePoint, etc as part of solution design and project management.
