Key Qualifications
- To be a successful Software Engineer on our team, you will need be an expert in the following areas:
- Chip&Pin technologies (especially EMV L2)
- Bank messaging specifications (ISO-8583)
- ICC Solutions (ADVT / M-TIP / AEIPS / Interac testing) & SmartSpy
- Knowledge of country specific payment flows (e.g. EFTPOS (AUS), Interac (CAN))
- Knowledge of online PIN protocols (ANSI x9.24 / DUKPT / Master Session)
- PCI compliance and card security
- Java / C / C
- HTTP(S), TCP/IP protocols
- Card Industry
- Strong communication skills and experience of communication with payment vendors across the globe.
- eCommerce / Banking / Retail industry experience
- Finally, you will have a clear advantage over other candidates by demonstrating strong knowledge of Serial protocols (USB, RS-232,..), Cryptography, Java NIO, Device Drivers and MFi certification.
Description
As a Software Engineer on our team, you will be responsible for working with cross-functional teams and developing Java server-based solutions to address business and technological needs. You will be helping design and build next generation retail solutions. You will be reviewing design and code developed by others on the team.You will build services and integrate with both internal as well as external services in a SOA environment. You will design and develop frameworks to be used by a large community of developers within the organization.
In your role, you will get the opportunity to collaborate with some very bright engineers with a lot of diverse experience. You will also get the opportunity to work on complex business flows that extend across multiple systems in an SOA environment. You will gain an in-depth understanding of retail business and experience working on high impact revenue systems.
Education
As a member of our team, you will be required to have a B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science with at least 2 years of industry experience and 6 years of overall development experience (through either school or personal projects)
