Hays Construction are working exclusively on a new role with one of Australia's premium builders who are currently looking for an experienced contract administrator to join their team in Sydney. As one of Sydney's busiest builders this company can offer their employers a range of project sizes and types. Most of their work for 2014 is residential in focus so candidates with experience in this area will be highly regarded.
As contract administrator for this company you will have at least 5 years experience of working as a contract administrator for a mid tier builder in Australia. You will be responsible for all aspects of this role from procurement of subcontractors to managing head and subcontract variations over the course of the project. The duties of this role are generic in nature and it will be assumed you have the capability to manage these duties effectively and efficiently. What my client are really interested in is the character of the successful candidate.
Are you an ambitious contract administrator who intends to move into project management over the next 3 years?Working with some of the best project managers in the industry this role will take you closer to your goal. As contract administrator you must already be demonstrating the commercial and financial nous which ensures your project makes the best profit margin possible and you take pride in making your project as efficient as possible.
Working in a flat management structure you will be exposed not only to your project manager but also to some of the most well connected senior managers in the industry who are skilled developers of talent.
