Our client is the lead NSW Government agency responsible for strategic planning and sustainable growth in NSW. The Department looks after areas of development, planning, local government and the environment. The agency is currently going through an exciting period of organisational and operational change.



The organisation is now looking for a Senior Compliance Officer to joint heir Planning Services division. In this role you will be responsible for compliance monitoring and regulation of major State Significant Development project in NSW, investigating complex development approvals and reviewing post approval reports as well as insuring implementation of appropriate enforcement actions. You will also be providing recommendations based on review of technical information and taking part in business improvement initiatives.



To be considered for this position you must have a tertiary level degree in relevant discipline coupled with solid compliance experience as well as sound knowledge of NSW planning system. You would have excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as ability to take initiative and push for results.
