Our client in Melbourne CBD, a growing organisation in the Financial Services industry, have created a new position as a English & Chinese speaking Compliance Assistant.



The responsibilities of the role will consist of assisting with compliance testing program, documentation of results and identifying remedial actions. Monitor recorded calls and assessment of client trade calls, ensuring regulatory and internal policy compliance. Assist with interpretation of English to Chinese and Chinese to English content in relation to new or changed legislation and regulations. Assist with English and Chinese language website content and approval. Chinese language documents, client communications, marketing and advertising approvals. Assist with other due diligence procedures, including completion of registers, reports, reviews, documentation, projects and other general administrative tasks in relation to compliance as directed. Assist with AML monitoring.



To be considered for this role you will be able to read and write in traditional & simplified Chinese as well as speak fluent Mandarin or Cantonese and be able to translate to Business English. You will have 1-2 years experience in compliance and have knowledge of financial products or financial knowledge. Experience of compliance testing, QA testing, auditing, risk analysis or other due diligence. You will be degree educated and any professional qualification or RG146 would be beneficial.
