Strategic Sourcing Manager
Located near Smithfield
$120-130k + Super

Opportunity for an experienced Strategic Sourcing Manager to drive the procurement function for this well-established medium sized organisation.

The role will manage categories within a Directs portfolio of finished products and components however this will also include the spend for freight forwarding, shipping, customs. Management of local and overseas suppliers.

Good communication, influencing and negotiation skills are essential in this role to liaise effectively with stakeholders and suppliers. Analytical skills will be a definite advantage.

This position will develop and implement procurement initiatives to improve cost and efficiencies. You will get involved in facilitating the procurement and supply chain function including inventory, freight forwarding, customer service, quality assurance etc. This position involves working hands on with minimal supervision and across various disciplines in the organisation.

You will need to demonstrate highly developed skills in written and oral communication with the ability to work in a highly productive environment.
