Program Managment Support Intern
Houston, Texas Area, US - Computer Hardware, Computer Software, Information Technology and Services
The Platform Software Engineering team in HP’s Server Division is responsible for the program management of several software and firmware components of HP ProLiant Servers. As an intern on the team, you will assist the Program Management team on several different projects.

You will work with experienced Program Managers and Engineers to ensure product deliverables will meet deadlines and quality standards. Your role will be assisting with software programs by developing clear and detailed plans, building and presenting program overviews, and writing program documents.

Responsibilities

Assisting with scheduling and tracking milestones from start to finish

Reporting program status

Identify and resolve issues

Learn product lifecycle from conception to delivery and support

Tools

Excellent knowledge of WORD, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Publisher, HTML

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and Experience

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Business Administration or similar

Qualifications

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Ability to effectively communicate program status

· Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams utilizing people skills

· Strong analytical and problem solving skills and ability to think creatively to solve complex problems

· Strong desire to learn and succeed
