Compliance Manager

An excellent job has become available to join one of the UK's leading food manufacturers as a Compliance Manager working on a busy site in Bristol, reporting into the Technical Manager.



The role is site based, taking on full responsibility for the sites Quality Management System & Auditing Systems. You will pro-activity work to keep the Management Systems ahead of legislation and be ready for external audits at any point, ensuring the site meets the high audit standards set nationwide.



The successful candidate will have extensive experience in the food manufacturing industry, being very familiar with the British Food Industry Standards. You will be able to demonstrate previous success in managing a sites Quality Management Systems and all Auditing Systems, developing & delivering key action plans to achieve full compliance. You will carry out internal audits, understanding the gaps and providing comprehensive corrective actions. You will use the auditing function as a continuous improvement tool and deliver training and lead of the development of these systems. You will also have a proven track record of successfully dealing with consumer complaints.



To be considered for this role you must have extensive experience of auditing & compliance in a food manufacturing environment. You must be a trained auditor and have a food safety qualification (HAZOP Level 3).
