An opportunity for a Senior engineer has arisen to commence a contract with a leading global coal mining company. As one of the world's largest mining groups' their consistent growth has resulted in this excellent career opportunity, offering an immediate start, consisting of a 4:4/4:2 roster with camp accommodation provided. This position is ongoing, on site in the Bowen Basin Region and is only open to residents of Brisbane, as it requires a FIFO arrangement. Candidates must reside within 100km of the Brisbane airport to be eligible for the role.
As the Senior Engineer your main responsibilities will be within the engineering standards and change control department, and you will already have had successes in similar roles. Substantial SAP exposure and experience is essential to be considered for this position, along with the ability to monitor technical documentation. You will monitor compliance of engineering processes and provide input into plans, budgets and targets and your role will have a heavy emphasis on maintenance.
To be successful in this role you will have a relevant degree in Engineering, as well as previous extensive mechanical or electrical maintenance experience, on a coal mining site. You will possess substantial mine site operational experience, with previous proven successes as a Senior Engineer in a maintenance capacity. You will hold a current Standard 11 and a current Coal Board Medical in order for an immediate start. This role has an immediate requirement so all applications will be processed in a matter of urgency.
