An opportunity has arisen with an established and team oriented accountancy firm based in the western suburbs. In this newly created permanent part-time role, we are seeking an experienced Finance Assistant for this job share opportunity.



Providing support for a team of accountants, you will be responsible for varied tasks, including but not limited to processing of all invoices, managing registrations including ABN, TFN, GST, PAYGW, FTC, Workcover, and Payroll Tax, liaising with clients regarding quarterly BAS/IAS, tax return lodgement via phone or email, liaising with ATO via phone and portal regarding client issues and firm issues, payment arrangements, penalty remittance requests, and lodgement extensions.



The working hours for this role are Thursdays and Fridays, with the flexibility to take on other days when required. The ideal candidate will have varied accounting support and administration experience. You will be able to work in a fast paced environment and have a "can-do" and friendly attitude. Proficiency in MYOB would be preferred but not required.
