Senior Material Planner (FMCG, Woodlands)

This is a great opportunity for an experience Senior Material Planner to join a global FMCG company located in Woodlands. The purpose of this position is to plan and purchase regional direct materials as per agreed supplier contracts to ensure optimal supply of Wrapping Materials and Semi Finished Goods. You will be responsible for the stock duration, material obsolescence, cost of purchase of specific materials categories for assigned factories in the region.



You will plan and purchase wrapping materials as per globally agreed planning processes for smooth operation of all the factories within the region, ensuring that strong relationships are established, developed and maintained with Regional /Global procurement as well as with major suppliers to achieve the business objectives. You will be responsible for maintaining ERP system set up in line with processes to establish appropriate batch sizes, delivery frequency, delivery at the right time for robust supply of WMs to the factories.



We are looking for an individual, who has got at least 5 years working experience in a planning field in a FMCG company with excellent competency in materials planning in SAP with sound knowledge in Best Practices. You will need to have strong leadership (people and business) and managerial skills along with strong cultural awareness.
