Senior Mechanical Engineer

Manchester, United Kingdom, GB - Design

A large global multi-disciplinary consultancy are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their lively team based in Manchester. Working within their Building Services team, typical sectors will include residential, data centres, Universities and also working on projects overseas. As a Senior Design Engineer you will be involved in all aspects of design, specifications, drawing production and work with other closely with other member's of the team. The successful candidate will have experience in a similar level role and be either Chartered or working towards Chartership.



Main Responsibilities;

-To produce detailed Mechanical Designs.

- To support Senior Management and estimating departments to contribute to the fee proposals .

- To Manage single and Multi-disciplinary projects.

- To attend and co-ordinate meetings with Clients, Architects, Quantity Surveyors to obtain all necessary information needed for the design process.



Requirements

- Relevant experience in a similar role

- Have a track record within a variety of projects within a range of sectors

- Highly motivated individual who is a member of a professional institution or close to achieving Chartership status.

-Degree in Building Services or Mechanical Engineering
