The System Engineer will work in the technical center and need to have strong in-depth experience of integrating Apple products and 3rd party products to provide a complete and seamless enterprise platforms. This SE will provide coaching and guidances on integration solutions development.
The System Engineer should be able to articulate the competitive advantage of Apple and 3rd party solutions in Enterprise/Education, specifically in iOS integration approaches in Enterprise, assess them and be able to categorize and develop solution guide/ tools for both sales and channels in vertical industry. The SE must have a firm grasp of Apple's service and support offerings and drive their customers towards self sufficiency. To be successful, a good blend of sales, technical systems thinking, communications and organizational skills are required.
Key Qualifications
- • Candidates should have at least 10 or more years of technical and education solution selling experience
- • Strong business development and communication skills including business opportunity identification and qualification, coordination different resources to support pre-sale.
- • Good knowledge of Apple Mac OS X or iOS and core technologies is preferred
- • Good knowledge of backend complex IT application, software and network architectures
- • Good knowledge of 3rd party platform product, such as LDAP, Mail, Portal, Calendar, Contacts, SSO
- • Good knowledge of EAI, SOA, OOA and cloud computing is preferred
- • PoC experience of enterprise system integration is preferred
- • Experiences of mobile device management is a plus
Description
Pre-sale – The candidate must be driven to achieve pre-determined sales objectives. Quickly and efficiently qualifying prospects to determine if there is a sales opportunity. Must always have knowledge of where they are in the sales cycle and where they are in relation to their assigned goals.
Technical – Responsible for technical aspects of sales into assigned enterprise accounts. The candidate must be able to engage effectively in architectural and technical discussions with customer prospecting technical staff from the CIO to the Systems Programmer to a Technical Coordinator. This experience is critical in being able to shape technical solutions in ‘real-time’ with prospects. Must possess the ability to assess customer's needs and strategically leverage Apple and third party subject matter expert resources to shorten the sales cycle. It will also be necessary to be able to accurately scope those solutions in the form of descriptions of services for engaging and quoting a comprehensive solution.
Communications – Strong verbal, written and presentation skills are required. A very high level of responsiveness and proactive communications with prospects, customers and the sales team. The ability to discuss the value of a comprehensive mobile solution in is imperative. Capability of conducting technical training to customers and channels are required.
