This International organisation have a strong presence globally within the resources space. They are leaders in their field and can offer secure, long term careers with prospects to highly driven candidates.



Working closely with the regional finance director and regional head of tax you will be responsible for providing tax support and advice to support the operations within the Australasian region.



You will proactively manage current and proposed regulatory changes in tax and report on the impact of the regulations to the wider business. You will also be responsible for all statutory returns across five entities including FBT, BAS and R&D tax concessions.



You will be involved in numerous projects and will engage with a range of stakeholder both internally and externally. Although not a significant part of the role some support with International taxation issues may be required.



The ideal candidate will have a big 4 taxation background with proven experience in the commercial space, ideally within resources although a broader range of well qualified and locally experienced candidates will be considered. Overall candidates with Big 4 backgrounds or exposure to resources will be considered highly.
