Our client, a market leading Telecommunications is currently seeking an Accounts Receivable(collections) officer to join their Melbourne office on a permanent basis.



You will report into the collections manager on a team of 6. This is a hands-on role, you will be responsible for providing reliable and accurate information to the business, especially ensuring the debtors' ledger is valid and debts beyond terms are limited.



You also will be responsible for successfully following up on overdue accounts, negotiating with customers who are outside of agreed credit facility terms, and processing manual payments.



Your responsibilities will include:



* Maintain debtors ledger

* Processing Direct Debit Requests

* Action inbound customer calls

* Debtor reconciliation

* Receipting

* Bank reconciliation



You will be required to have:



* Proven experience in a Credit function role

* Advanced / Intermediate Excel skills

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills

* Good time management skills and ability to prioritise tasks in order to meet deadlines

* Exceptional attention to detail

* Previous exposure to Pronto is highly desirable will be highly regarded



The successful candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, and excellent commercial negotiation skills.
