Coventry, United Kingdom, GB - Education Management
Headteacher - Coventry
L30-L36
Start Date: September 2015 or sooner
Are you an inspirational leader with the vision, drive and expertise to establish and lead an
new free secondary school? Seva School has a very unique opportunity for the right individual.
We are looking for a motivated, innovative and dedicated individual to lead our School in collaboration with our currently open Primary School.
Our new school will provide unparalleled teaching for the children of Coventry. As an all-through, co-educational establishment, we will deliver outstanding academic results, alongside ethics, morals and respect. Children will leave us well prepared for the rigours of higher education, the challenges of employment and life in a global society. Enthusiasm and confidence -our teaching staff need both from day one, our pupils will gain both in abundance.
We'll also engender a broader sense of brotherhood, equality, compassion and selfless service. We will measure success intellectually, physically, socially and emotionally.
You will drive the strategy to achieve these ambitions.
Working with a team of experienced professionals to open the school, you will take a lead in realising the trustees' vision alongside Heads of the Upper and Lower School. Learning, inspired teaching, safety and security, exceptional outcomes for the school, meeting statutory requirements, and working with other schools and agencies to share expertise -you will be very busy.
There is far more to the role than we can fit in a single job description. We have big plans, and not just for the current pupils. The future involves a significant investment in ICT/computing, building a case for nursery and sixth-form provision and much, much more.
You will be an experinced senior secondary leader (at either Deputy/Vice Principal or Headteacher/Principal level) with the ability to lead a school, develop teachers, manage projects and build networks. You'll also need boundless energy and the self-confidence that only comes with genuine ability.
This is a rare chance to join a school at the beginning of a phenomenal journey. An opportunity to make a real difference to children today and for generations to come. Our doors will open in September 2015.
Are you ready for the challenge?
If you possess these qualities and share the excitement for the future of Seva Free School then we will be delighted to hear from you.
