Commercial Analyst (Rail)

A billion pound rail business based in London are looking for a commercial analyst to drive long term performance in their growing business.



This business have had continued success in the development of the London transport system and want to continue enhancing their success by bringing on board commercially motivated professionals who have demonstrable experience of adding value.



If you are newly or recently qualified and are keen to move into a Financial Planning & Analysis division then this could be the ideal role for you.



The Role



To support the Head of Business Planning and Analysis with the design and roll out of business intelligence models

Support the management and coordination of the annual budget

Strategic involvement with company business plan

Creation and development of robust financial models

Analysis of business performance

Manage, coach and develop junior staff members

Business Partnering with operational team leaders

Historical analysis of performance

Capital expenditure proposals

Ad hoc project work



The Candidate



CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified

Experience within rail or related field

Commercial acumen

Analytical experience

Attention to detail

Experience in large business environment
