Intermediate Networking Channel Specialist

We are currently looking for an entry level-intermediate Network Channel Specialist based in Auckland who will be responsible for engaging with Hewlett Packard’s channel partners to enable their sales success with HP Networking. In addition, the role will also have a component of end-user sales.

We are looking for someone with technical hands on experience from a networking background who has the people skills and enthusiasm that is required within a sales role. This is an exciting time to join the team as we are currently in a growth phase of a very saleable product with strong interest in the technology from the existing Hewlett Packard partners.

Qualifications

Job Skills Required:

• At least 2-3 years of experience as a network engineer, a help-desk background or in a sales role

• Broad networking technical knowledge.

• Understanding of Networking products and architectures including Cisco.

• You must have enthusiasm and be a self-starter.

• Team Player – the right personality is very important.

• Someone who is keen to develop career within HP.

• Ability and maturity for complex conversations with HP partners.

• Strong communication skills.
