Hays are currently recruiting for a Crew Leader to manage the day-to-day organisation of assigned field staff, with a major focus on customer satisfaction and co-ordination of staff. They will be tasked with ensuring work is completed safely, on time, to an appropriate standard and to achieve planned profit or better as per job bid targets.



The crew leader will perform natural gas pipeline maintenance and construction work to client specifications as well as responding to emergency faults and leakage on the gas network within planned response times.



A bulk of the current projects in Victoria at the moment are installing mains and service pipelines, as per job instructions and specifications, and meeting current regulations and standards.



To qualify for this position, the candidate should have either a Cert II or Cert III in gas operations or extensive experience on the operations and maintenance of gas pipelines.
