Commercial Account Manager



An exciting new opportunity exists within the Commercial function of this global Cambridge based Manufacturer for an experienced commercial professional with demonstrable cradle to grave commercial expertise and exposure to the management of complex, high value opportunities and contracts.



Responsibilities

The role is to work within one of the company's delivery business units ensuring Company commercial governance, compliance and control is adhered to in terms of Customer Account Management, pricing and proposals, contract and change negotiation.

For allocated commercial activities the successful candidate will be responsible for minimising contractual and commercial risk and exposure, whilst maximising profit opportunity.



Other responsibilities will include:

- Customer point of contact for commercial account management related issues with regard to contractual & commercial matters

- Advice, assistance and guidance on a wide range of commercial matters to members of the Team including Directors, Project Managers & functional team members

- Involvement in the development and implementation of commercial policy, procedure and practice



Skills and Experience

- Demonstrable record of working in a commercial environment

- Strong customer focus

- Working knowledge of pricing, terms and conditions and other contractual documentation

- Exceptional written, communication and analytical skills

- Capable of interfacing with stakeholders both internally and externally
