Our client is active in 27 countries and organised into four business areas: North America, Continental Europe, UK & Ireland and Rest of the World. They are a fast growing and successful international distribution and outsourcing group with operations across the Americas, Europe and Australasia. The Continental European headquarters and shared service center is located in Amsterdam. They give support for the operating companies in Continental Europe (B2B). The Operating Companies support their customers all over the world with a variety of products that are essential for the successful operation of their businesses. By outsourcing the purchasing, consolidation and delivery of a broad range of everyday items, their customers are able to focus on their core businesses, achieve purchasing efficiencies and savings, free up working capital, improve distribution capabilities, reduce carbon emissions and simplify their internal administration.
The organization is at the beginning of the development of a new eCommerce platform (B2B) for Continental Europe. The newly formed team will initially exist of an eCommerce Coordinator, Integration Specialist and Business Analyst/UX Analyst. This new team will see the platform through go live and will continuously optimize the new platform. We expect that the team will double in size quickly. So this is a unique chance to be part of this challenge!
As an eCommerce Business Analyst/ UX Analyst you have close contact with key users and business process owners in the various Operating Companies about their functional and UX-demands. As an eCommerce Business Analyst/ UX Analyst you assess, change and define/redefine business requirements and related information to continuously make improvements to the web shop and user experience. You are accountable for the delivery, quality, and success of the user experience and webshop, including optimization and coordination of innovative new features built by Web Developers.
Furthermore you will be a member of the online support team. You will give support by answering questions from key-users within the business (Operating companies throughout Continental Europe).
Our client is looking for candidates with a Bachelor degree and 3-5 years of experience in similar position. You speak Dutch and English fluently (other European languages are a strong plus) and you are comfortable in a formal setting. As an eCommerce Business Analyst you are passionate about User Experience and continuous improvement . As a person you have strong communicative skills, are service minded and result driven.
