Our client is a leading subcontractor in the Melbourne commercial construction market. They have been involved in numerous landmark projects across the Melbourne skyline for over 20 years and work with well known top tier builders on projects up to circa $250m. They are currently seeing no slow down in the market and have recently picked up three new projects that are due to start before the end of the year. With this increase in workload and more on the horizon they are now looking to bolster their commercial team with the addition of a qualified quantity surveyor / contract administrator.



This business is aggressive, they are well known within the industry and are looking for like- minded people to join the team and fit the company mould. This is not a business for people who are afraid of some hard work, you must have a strong persona as within this role you will be dealing with all different types of personalities. Applicants with a can do attitude who put their work first will be looked up on very highly.



You will working across up to two different projects at any one time and your role will cover but not be limited to, contract liaison with the head contractor, programming, procurement and contract admin. People with experience for both principle and subcontractors on commercial tier 1 projects would be ideal for this role.



The successful applicants will possess a minimum of 5 years postgraduate experience in a commercial construction market, working as either a contract administrator or quantity surveyor, you will hold a tertiary qualification in a construction related discipline, be technically minded with an ability to read and interpret complex drawings.
