Are you a hospitality expert who understands the unique challenges of managing a large hotel refurbishment while guests are still in the hotel. If so this is your opportunity to land a long term contract( at least 5 months) on a large hotel refurbishment in Sydney's CBD.



Our client is a long established builder with operations all over Australia. They tend to fly under the radar but they are a serious player within their own niche business. They are in the process of signing off a large refurbishment project with a key client and are looking to appoint a highly experienced site manager/supervisor to run this project on a day to day basis.



As site manager of this project you will be reporting to the project manager. You will be responsible for all day to day construction and refurbishment operations onsite. Your absolute key requirement will be to ensure that the day to day running of this hotel is not affected by the construction works. You will do this by having at least 2 hotel projects behind you and thus understand how to program and schedule works which will cause least disruption to the hotel.



You will be a fantastic communicator who will be able to generate positive relationships quickly with the key stakeholders on this project ( Hotel Manager, Owner etc) Of course it goes without saying that you will have a large amount of fitout and refurbishment experience behind you as well. Ideally you will have site managed projects up to at least $15 million and believe you are capable of handling bigger.
