The IOT Solution Architect is the key technical leader in Atos' Automotive IT team. Be a trusted advisor to Automotive and heavy machinery OEMs for architecting state-of-the-art connected vehicle and aftersale service platforms. This individual will be responsible for software strategy and delivery of highly concurrent, distributed, and fault tolerant software systems, integration platform for APIs, cloud infrastructure and analytics services. <br>Responsibilities:<br>• Interface with the Automotive / Heavy Machiner OEMs business owners, solution architects and all other stakeholders in order to determine their long/short term visions and priorities in the aftersale service (connected vehicle, partner ecosystem, warranty etc.) area<br>• Generate the highest level of system requirements and solution tracks, based on strategic vision and other constraints such as cost and schedule <br>• Partition large systems into layers of subsystems and components each of which can be handled by an architect with specific area of expertise <br>• Perform market scan and cost-benefit analyses of commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) products making maximum use customization or already developed components <br>• Make recommendations based on evaluation of COTS products, results of POCs and capability analysis of existing components <br>• Shape and drive the architecture, design, and technical capabilities required to deliver recommended solutions <br>• Develop technical execution plan for projects emerging out of strategic engagements, and ensure that projects are delivered as per governance/guidelines/standards <br>• Define and split architectural epics into features for allocating to respective items for implementation<br>• Actively collaborate with other architects, technical leaders, and customer IT leadership <br>• Lead and coach the development team from technical perspective<br>• Connect with leading architects globally within Atos, participate in Atos’ scientific community and bring global innovations to North American accounts<br>
