SEA Managing Director (Fabrication)

Selangor, Malaysia, MY - Machinery, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, Mining & Metals

Reporting directly to the Commercial Director in the home-country, the incumbent is responsible for the Malaysian sales and operation as well as managing and being the point of report for General Managers in other countries within the region. They have to manage sales & margin results and price policy in line with corporate guidelines in the region or specific country of operation. They might be responsible for several key accounts. They have to look after the stock management if any, P&L and balance sheet sustainability and evolution according to Business Plans. They are also responsible for the legal, hierarchical and operational responsibility for all the people in the subsidiaries.



The ideal candidate should already be in General Management role with experience selling machinery or products supporting the welding or fabrication work in any industry. Technical knowledge of welding and fabrication work and regional management experience in South East Asia will be added advantages. They should be autonomous, able to work with deadlines and able to manage sales team in different countries. They should also be willing to travel heavily (60%).
