Hays are currently recruiting a Tax Manager for a Major Financial Services Institution. We are looking for a highly motivated, organised and talented Operations Tax Manager to work part time within Sydney's CBD.



* 5+ years experience in tax compliance required (including GST, FBT, BAS)

* Performing month-end balance sheet reconciliation's for tax related balance sheet accounts.

* Prepare and review income tax returns (and schedules) and Business Activity Statements.

* Research and prepare technical tax advice for clients on a variety of issues.

* Assist with the preparation of tax returns and other ad-hoc tasks as required.

* CPA Qualified

* Preference for Australian tax experience.

* Financial Services experience essential.



The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant with good all round tax experience, either from a Chartered Accountancy firm or a large Corporate. They must be an experienced Tax Manager well versed with Australian tax rules applicable to financial institutions. They must have at least 5 years of tax experience, with exposure to the financial services industry. They must have experience managing teams and have the ability to work independently, with minimal supervision and direction.
