Hays

Architectural Graduate

Auckland, New Zealand, NZ - Architecture & Planning, Construction, Design

  • Highly Respected Practice in the CBD

  • Design Focused & Lead Practice With a Range of Bespoke Projects

  • Work Along Side One of Auckland's Most Revered Architects

The client acknowledges that with most graduate placements you will spend the first year at the ground level, not really engaging with the projects. This opportunity is different, you will be thrown right into the creative process contributing to the design and working on concepts. You will also have the added benefit of working closely with one of New Zealand's most decorated Architects on projects ranging from urban master planning to high end residential projects.

Due to their recent graduates being promoted the client has a requirement for talented and passionate graduates with either 1 - 2 years of NZ experience or fresh out of university. As you will be thrown right into projects it is imperative that you will have the confidence and raw ability to become a contributing member of this established practice. ArchiCAD proficiency would be preferred but not essential, quality design is a staple of this practice so all graduates must be able to demonstrate a high ability in design but also a deep understanding of the design process and delivery.

The role would suit an assured and confident graduate who can handle constructive criticism. The environment is supportive however there is a high level of quality and work expected so someone who themselves has high standards would work well but with the ability to work well within a team, prima donnas need not apply.
