Following increased investment in the procurement function, this successful business are looking to recruit 2 pro-active procurement professionals to join their team. One role will focus on Indirect spend with the other focusing on IT. With a high-performing team already in place there is scope to shape the job profile to suit candidate expertise hence the broad salary range on offer.



*The successful candidate will have the proven ability to manage a supply base and a confident negotiator at a senior level.

*Experience and good understanding of either Indirect or IT procurement is a must for this role

*The performance of the successful individual is defined and measured by goals and behaviours, which cover cost reduction/ delivery/ lead-time/ quality and payment terms improvements.

*Lead cross-functional teams to select and implement suppliers as necessary according to the Sourcing Process. Negotiate best practice initial terms with suppliers resulting in Supplier Agreements / Contracts.

*Monitor supplier's performance (cost, quality, delivery and service).

*Continuously develop suppliers to improve their service.

*Support and promote good teamwork in the department and act in line with the company's values.

*Exceptional communication and stakeholder mgt skills essential.

*Degree/CIPS (part/full) qualified preferred.
