Hays Leadership is recruiting an Interim Head of Education



We are looking for an organised and dynamic leader to take over responsibilities as Interim Head of Education. This interim position (which is currently for 1 term) has the potential of going permanent.



This job would be ideally suited to a very experienced Deputy or even Head teacher who is looking for a new challenge.



The school is located in South Yorkshire and is an aged 8-19 specialist residential school. The children in the school have complex needs including challenging behaviour and learning disability often in association with autism.



The role is quite varied and will require quite a diverse skill set. You will be responsible for amongst other things the managerial oversight of the education provision of the school including the extended curriculum.



It is important that the successful candidate has worked in a similar BESD type school at a senior level and has excellent management skills including up to date knowledge of SEN procedures.
